The Bush Era

I believe that this quote perfectly encapsulates the Bush presidency:

Big Brother in the form of an increasingly powerful government and in an increasingly powerful private sector will pile the records high with reasons why privacy should give way to national security, to law and order, to efficiency of operation, to scientific advancement and the like.

General BetrayUs & Amb. Crock of S---

Absolutely amazing. Aren't we getting just a wee bit tired of "more of the same?"

Well, not only am I tired of it, I'm so angry at this bastard Bush administration and his flunkies that I simply cannot wait until we have a Democrat in the White House.

My analysis of the testimony by Gen. BetrayUs (again) & Ambassador Crock of S--- (that ain't 'soup' either):

The central issue is that good ol' moving target of "success" in this war. Ah yes, success and how to define it. We already know that Bush can't/won't provide a reasonable definition of success. Now, here again, we see how that good-for-nothing, Bush-mouth-piece, testicle-less, paper-tiger of a General is stymied by that same question. Sir, if success cannot be defined--I hate to break the news to you, again--then it can't be achieved.

I WANT OUT! And whomever will get us to that point faster will get my vote.

And before you even think about the McCainian/Bushism/Rovism that this is a "reckless retreat," ask yourself this question. How is it reckless to withdraw from a quagmire that has at its core a reckless conception?
