THE PEOPLE HAVE SPOKEN

I'd say that this pretty much sends W's 'political capital' into bankruptcy, wouldn't you?
First the House and now the Senate--the proverbial inside straight.
And how should the Democrats spend their new 'political capital' Mr. Bush?

Lois Murphy Rally: Al Gore - Sends a Message to Bush

Listen to Al Gore send a message to Dubya about a balance of power!

The Tide is Turning

I've read for a fairly long time now that military leaders have known the mistakes that the Bush Whitehouse has made in the Iraq War, but now it is becoming a more popular view.

"This is not about the midterm elections," continued the editorial, which
will appear in the Army Times, Air Force Times, Navy Times, and Marine Corps
Times on Monday. "Regardless of which party wins Nov. 7, the time has come, Mr.
President, to face the hard bruising truth: Donald Rumsfeld must go."
Kenneth Adelman, who served on the Defense Policy Board with Perle, said
Bush, Defense Rumsfeld and others in the administration "turned out to be among
the most incompetent teams in the postwar era. Not only did each of them,
individually, have enormous flaws, but together they were deadly,
dysfunctional."

Scandals-R-Us

This really should be the republican motto. You can't even keep track of them all. Googled "republican scandal" and compared hits with "democrat scandal" and found...you guessed it...the republicans have a better than 16 to 1 edge (150,000 to 9,180).

Republican Evangelical Values

I guess buying methamphetamines and getting massages from gay prostitutes are what the republicans are calling family values now days. Developing story at CNN. Is this Bill Clinton's fault too? Hypocrites--the whole lot of them.
