This one slipped by the media
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/13461440/
This certainly didn't make 'front page news'...why would it? After all, with the chance to continue to beat the "boy has the momentum changed in favor of the republicans" drum, why bother with news that is a critical barometer of the conscience of this country and of how the republicans will do nothing for those who are not wealthy?
Further proof that mainstream media actually has a Republican bias. Not to mention that the Democrats don't have their own major cable news company, like the Republican's Sly FOX! Fair and balanced my ass!

What a difference a month can make

Al-Zarqawi's death, a narrow Republican win out in California, and other events have seemingly turned the tide that was so incredibly against this Bush White House and boosted the Shrub's approval ratings (albeit still very low). I say 'seemingly' because I believe that it wasn't the events themselves (with the possible exception of a 'Zarqawi bounce') that led to the above-mentioned tide shift, but rather the media's (remember, that so called liberal media!?!) constant drum beat of that the momentum has changed. Perception sometimes really is stronger than reality.
