It's Early Yet...I wish it was November

Although the momentum is clearly with the Democrats in anticipation of the mid-term elections, I do wish it was already October or November. Events and the Republican-dominated media (I know, all the republicans think it's the other way, but I ask you, do the Democrats have their own network like the repugnantcans have in Fox?) can sway things in a matter of weeks or even days, not months. If the election was today we'd likely get majority in both chambers. All we need is for the White House to pull Bin Laden out of a spider hole and the entire mood will shift. The media is fickle...let's hope the American voting public isn't.

Jail for ex-GOP official over phone-jamming

Typical dirty tricks.
If you think that this is an isolated incident, you don't know the Republican Party very well.
Look for more of this as the Republicans become more and more afraid of the American voters who are getting disgusted with their line-the-pockets-of-their-cronies mentality, wasteful spending, and yes, even weak defense (because of misguided foreign policy and internal lack of readiness, port security etc.)

Another Reminder of the Bush Disaster

You know, it seems everywhere you look you can see clear evidence of the disastrous Bush presidency. Even in unsuspected places, such as when I was reading the news story of the minor who survived the Sago mine accident. It appears that the breathing devices (air packs) failed and this may have contributed to their demise. So, how can this possibly be Bush's fault you ask? Well I would have thought the same if it weren't for at the very end of the article it mentions that "...the Bush administration is reviewing air packs and other safety equipment used in the nation's mines after previously scrapping similar initiatives started by the Clinton administration."
